The Cameron Ford Watts Scholarship
The Cameron Ford Watts
Scholarship was established in 1993 in memory of Cameron Ford Watts. His
parents, Rip Watts and Sandra Watts, both of Clarksville Tennessee, wanted to establish
this endowed scholarship as a way to positively impact other individuals with

LeRoy Parks Civitan Scholarship
The LeRoy C. Parks
Scholarship was established by the Civitan Club to honor Mr. Parks service as
1999-2000 International President. Civitan's main focus is to assist individuals

Tremendous Fellowships Available
The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science (SC) has established the DOE
Office of Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE SCGF) program to provide support for
outstanding students to pursue graduate training in basic research in areas of
physics, biology, chemistry, mathematics, engineering, computational sciences,
and environmental sciences relevant to the Office of Science and to encourage
the development of the next generation scientific and technical talent in the
U.S.
Fellows will receive a $35,000 yearly stipend for living expenses, $10,500 per
year for tuition and fees and a $5,000 research stipend supplement for research
materials and travel expenses. Fellows will be required to participate in the
annual DOE SCGF Research Conference to be held each summer at a DOE national
laboratory. Travel expenses and accommodations to the Conference will be
provided by the DOE SCGF program.

The AHEAD
Scholarship for STUDENTS with Disabilities: As a member of AHEAD, APSU
students with disabilities may be nominated for a $1000 scholarship from AHEAD.
At least one (1) $1,000 (USD) scholarship will be awarded to an
undergraduate student and at least one (1) $1,000 (USD) scholarship to a
graduate student January 2010. If you are interested in applying,
contact our office for eligibility requirements and sponsorship. The deadline for applications is
December 15, 2009.

with Learning Disabilities: A list of scholarships available for students
with learning disabilities.
Scholarship Program for
Amputee College Students: The
National Amputation Foundation offers six scholarships to college students
with a major limb amputation, who will be attending an accredited university as
a full time student.

Endowed Scholarship: Scholarship available for a graduating high school
senior with a specific language-related learning disability and verified
financial need who has visual arts talent to attend an accredited four-year
college or university or two-year community college in order to pursue a
career in a visual arts field.
National Federation of the Blind (NFB) Scholarships: NFB gives a broad
array of thirty scholarships to recognize achievement by blind scholars each
year. Winners will be brought to the NFB annual convention, providing an
excellent opportunity for high level networking with active blind persons in
many different professions and occupations.

Armstrong Foundation Scholarship: Provides financial assistance to women
with physical disabilities who are enrolled in a college or university
graduate program in the United States.
DisABLEDperson Inc. College Scholarship Award: Information on One Top
Firm/disABLEDperson Inc.'s scholarship competition, which is open to U.S.
citizens enrolled in 2 or 4 year accredited colleges or universities in the
United States.
