Bachelor of Arts or Science in Communication Arts - Major: Information Specialist

The U. S. Information Service and military public affairs together employ more than 5,000 information specialists. Information specialists are also employed by state government, local government, chambers of commerce, and a variety of nonprofit organizations.
 
It's a growing career area. Opportunities in the area of public affairs and information specialists clearly outnumber the available, properly trained prospective employees. 

The Information Specialist major is designed to help you achieve your information-based goals for serving the public while representing your government-, military-, or nonprofit organization- based client.
