Mission Statement |
Welcome to the homepage of the
College of Behavioral and Health
Sciences! At the links on this page,
you will find information about the
various undergraduate majors and
programs offered through the
College. These majors include:

in Nursing (BSN) and the RN to BSN

studies concentration and a minor in

promotion, health, and health care
management, teacher licensure
programs, and a variety of minors)
The College of
Behavioral and Health Sciences is
also home to two stand alone minors
military science and
leadership studies. In addition, a
version of the political science
major is available completely
online.
Note: Austin Peay
also offers undergraduate programs
in Radiologic Technology, Medical
Technology, and a host of
pre-professional
health/medical-related programs
through our College of Science and
Mathematics.
Complementing College
offerings at the undergraduate
level, the College of Behavioral and
Health Sciences offers the following
graduate programs under the auspices
of the College of Graduate Studies:

of Science in Nursing (MSN
online only through the Regents
online degree program (RODP))

Master of
Science in Counseling with
concentrations in school counseling
and community counseling (both
concentrations offered on-ground
only )

Master of
Arts in Psychology with a
concentration in
industrial-organizational psychology
(online only )
·
Master of
Social Work (MSW offered
jointly with Middle Tennessee State
University and Tennessee State
University; combination of online
and on-ground courses)

Master of
Science in Health and Human
Performance with a
concentration in health leadership
(public health education path or an
online only health administration
path); and a specialization in
Sport and Wellness Leadership
Faculty of the
College will work closely with you
to assist you in your courses,
mentor you in research, or just
share with you the excitement of
learning. Many students earn their
undergraduate degree and, upon
graduation, secure employment in a
variety of business, non-profit, and
healthcare settings, while others
elect to pursue graduate education
at Austin Peay or elsewhere. The
education you receive in the College
of Behavioral and Health Sciences
will develop in you the analytical
skills and the ability to make
decisions based on evidence that is
necessary to be successful on
whatever path you travel.
