TCUB Mission Statement

Upward Bound provides outreach to high school students who meet certain family income guidelines and/or are first-generation college students. Guidance Counselors at high schools in the service area are the point of contact between potential Upward Bound students and Upward Bound counselors. Upward Bound Director Daniel Botula states that the program seeks to motivate those students with average achievement or better who have the potential to achieve at a higher level and enroll in college or vocational/technical school.
