Quickbooks for Beginners

This course will cover how to use QuickBooks for your accounting needs. Participants should have a beginning understanding of accounting practices. You will work with a sample file in class and will delete, add, and correct data. A new business file will then be created for practice purposes in class. Topics include: creating a company, sole owner, chart of accounts, items and services, type of accounts, adding accounts, quick start menu, passwords, vendors, customers, employees, entering bills, checks, reports, sales tax setup, managing sales tax, invoices, receiving payments, reconciling, balance sheet, void and delete, deposits, and refunds.


Quickbooks Advanced

In the second level of QuickBooks Professional, participants will learn QuickBooks intermediate skills and "What's New" in the latest version of the software. The latest version of QuickBooks makes it easier to stay on top of invoices and bills, complete tasks in few steps, and customize QuickBooks to work the way you do. Class company information is already set up and will be manipulated in class. Topics include: credit card charges, inventory and maintenance, fixed assets, track time for a job, paycheck and deductions, special deductions, bank information, import and export to excel, invoices, new jobs, partial payments, advance payment, income, payroll setup information, manage employees and vendors, charts, sales tax, memorized transactions, and many reports.
