I currently lead APSU Woodward Library's assessment projects to evaluate the usage, quality, impact, and value of the library's services in meeting the teaching, learning, and research needs of students, faculty, and other library users. In 1986, I was hired to establish a library research instruction program at APSU. I received the Tennessee Library Association's James E. Ward Instruction Award in 2002. Prior to APSU, I served for 3 years in the Marian College Library (Indianapolis), and 4 years in the School of Law Library and Perkins (Main) Library at Duke University.
