Which ESL program is best for me?

F-1 Visa InternationalStudents   All Other Students
F-1 students are required to study full time with the ESL Institute in the Intensive English Program.   Students include U.S. citizens, permanent residents, J-1 au pairs, dependents and others who are not in the U.S. on an F-1 student visa - but desire to improve their English language skills.

  The Intensive English Program is for students who are looking for: The General English Programs are for students who are looking for:
  Language proficiency test preparation for university studies Practical, everyday English skills to improve interaction with children in local schools and their teachers, work colleagues, and the local community
  Intensive courses with homework, exams and grades
  7-week terms, each class 2.5 to 4 hours per week 7-week terms, each class 2 hours per week
  Classes are held during the day, usually between 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Classes are held weekday mornings, evenings and Saturday mornings
