Depression Marsh

Depression Marshes are associated with natural depression ponds and occur in non-alluvial landscape posiitons. These are often small communities but are known to harbor many rare species, including many species distjunct from the Gulf Coastal Plain. They are most abundant in the Highland Rim, particularly the Eastern Highland Rim.
