To be eligible to participate in the travel stipend giveaway the following criteria must be met:
- Must be a full-time/adjunct faculty member teaching in the 2018-2019 academic year.

- Faculty must be employed by APSU at the time of their professional development conference and use the travel stipend prior to July 1, 2019.
- Faculty must complete the Lynda “D2L Daylight Instructor Training” assigned playlist by 5:00 pm on June 30, July 31, and August 31 to be considered for one of the three travel stipends.

On the playlists page, you can view the “D2L Daylight Instructor Training” under Assigned Playlists. After completing the training you will be automatically entered into the giveaway!
If you haven’t activated your Lynda account, go to LyndaCampus and click the login button. Use your APSU enterprise login (single-sign-on) credentials to sign in. If you don’t see the “D2L Daylight Instructor Training” playlist, please contact Distance Education at firstname.lastname@example.org or 931-221-6625.
Distance Education will also be offering short D2L Daylight Zoom sessions to faculty on Mondays July 30, August 6, 13, and 20 from 9:00am-9:45am Central. You can access the Zoom room (opens new window) beginning at 9:00am Central. If you have any questions about D2L Daylight or the D2L Daylight Zoom sessions, please contact email@example.com.
Faculty are encouraged to access the D2L Daylight Test environment (opens new window). You can sign in to the test environment with your normal APSU login credentials. Please feel free to take a look at your past courses (up to Summer 2017) in the D2L Daylight interface and experiment in your courses to get familiar with Daylight. Please note: any work done on the Test environment will not carry over to your live courses.
While in the test environment, you may notice that you no longer see publisher integrations (MyLab & Mastering, McGraw-Hill Connect) on the Course Home page of your courses. These tools are being removed from the Course Home effective August 15 with the Daylight update. These tools will be available in D2L (live production) through Content as External Learning Tools. Distance Education will provide a short guide to the new integrations soon. If you have any questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
