The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship is a highly-selective scholarship for the nation’s top community college students seeking to complete their bachelor’s degrees at selective four-year colleges or universities. The Foundation provides up to $40,000 per year for up to three years, making it the largest private scholarship for community college transfer students in the country. Up to 55 Undergraduate Transfer Scholars are selected each year.

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for individually designed study/research projects or for English Teaching Assistant Programs during one academic year in a participating country outside the U.S. Fulbrighters will meet, work, live with and learn from the people of the host country, sharing daily experiences.

The Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation was established by Congress in 1986 to serve as a living memorial to honor the lifetime work of Senator Barry Goldwater. This scholarship is meant to provide scholarships to sophomores and juniors who plan to pursue careers in the natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering fields.

Marshall Scholarships fund up to forty Scholars of high ability each year to study at the graduate level at any UK institution in any field of study for 1-2 years. As future leaders, with a lasting understanding of British society, Marshall Scholars strengthen the enduring relationship between the British and American peoples, their governments and their institutions. Their direct engagement with Britain through its best academic programs contributes to their ultimate personal success.

The Udall Foundation awards up to fifty scholarships per year to college sophomores and juniors for leadership, public service, and commitment to issues related to Native American nations or to the environment. The Udall scholarship honors the legacies of Morris Udall and Stewart Udall, whose careers had a significant impact on Native American self-governance, health care, and the stewardship of public lands and natural resources.
The Harry S. Truman Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship that is available to juniors who exhibit exceptional leadership potential and who are committed to pursuing careers in public service such as in government, advocacy, non-profit organizations, or education among others. Truman Scholars are provided with financial support to pursue graduate study, leadership training, and fellowship with other students with similar aspirations to public service. Preference is given to juniors in the upper quartile of their class and any field of study is eligible.
