Student Affairs assumes a major responsibility for helping to create a positive campus environment that enhances and supports learning. The quality of student life is significantly affected by the availability, variety, and integrity of services and extra academic support programs on campus.  It is our task to build alliances between the classroom and campus life, and to provide an opportunity for students to experience the excitement and responsibility that comes from being an active member of a community of higher learning.

We invite you to learn about the many programs and services we provide. Student Affairs offers advocacy, wellness, diversity, involvement, engagement, spirit, recreation and leadership opportunities, as well as a few memories to every student at APSU!

Explore our web sites and stop by our offices. When you do, we hope you'll  find Student Affairs to be responsive, innovative, supportive and empowering.

Best wishes,
    and Let's Go Peay!

History

I made a lot of connections and met with a variety of professors and students from other universities who were very motivational,” Alexander said. “The professors were helpful advising people like me who are apprehensive about the difficulty in pursuing a career as a professor in history. “Also, (presenting at an academic conference) looks great on a CV and will benefit me when I apply to graduate school,” Alexander added.
Where have APSU alumni gone?

Meet Tracy Bettencourt

At APSU, they have a lot of amazing technology that I can't afford at home, but helps me learn through book scanners or screen readers or other resources that help us learn as well as anyone else. APSU gave me the same opportunity to succeed as any other student, and I would not change the experience there for anything in the world.
