APSU offers several areas for advanced learning, degrees

The College of Graduate Studies is located in the McReynolds building, Room 119. Current and prospective students are invited to our office to explore the admission requirements and apply for the graduate program of his/her interest.

Austin Peay State University offers numerous graduate degrees that advance the students’ understanding of their fields of study, enhance their leadership and research skills, and position them for professional growth and job advancement. Outstanding and caring faculty members are vested to ensure graduate student success. Graduate students will appreciate collaborative relationships with peers and qualified professors while pursuing his/her educational and professional goals.

Financial opportunities are available to absorb the cost of furthering your education through the College of Graduate Studies. These opportunities include the Diversity Fellowship Grant and Graduate Assistantships. (The Diversity Fellowship Grant pays up to $6,000 a semester for full-time enrollment to qualified Tennessee residents.)

Graduate Assistantships (GA) positions provide students experience through campus employment, a tuition and fee scholarship, and a stipend. The GA position is an invaluable experience not only to further ones’ knowledge and educational experience but also build upon leadership skills needed in a professional environment. In addition to these practical skills, successful GAs gains the respect of supervisors that could eventually become colleagues or professional references.
