Student Publications

Student Publications is home to the editorially independent student newspaper on campus, The All State, and serves as a space where students bridge the gap between their academic curriculum and a practical environment.

Student Publications also produces the Student Handbook and Calendar and this guide. Students also have the opportunity complete lab classes requirements from the Department of Communication through working in Student Publications.

The All State has served as APSU’s student newspaper since 1930 and earned a 3rd, 5th and 8th for Best College Press Photographer and a 5th-place ranking for Best College Magazine in the South in 2017-18, along with numerous other awards.

The All State is published each Wednesday during the semester and is available at many locations around the Clarksville campus and APSU’s other campuses.

You can read the newspaper online at www.theallstate.org and on Facebook (www.facebook.com/theallstate), Twitter (@TheAllState) and Instagram (@theallstate_apsu).

Any enrolled student is welcome to apply for an array of positions from writing, to designing, and advertising by visiting www.apsu.edu/student-pubs, or you can pick-up an application in the newsroom.
