Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students interested in the relationship between humans and the biophysical world are encouraged to pursue a Minor in Environmental Studies through the Department of Sociology and Community Development. Undergraduate students interested in Agriculture can tailor their degree to incorporate environmental stewardship through the Concentration in Sustainable Development.

Graduate Students
Graduate students can strengthen their ability to identify and analyze environmental problems through the new Graduate Sustainability Certificate. This certificate compliments many Master's degrees and only requires 9 hours of coursework.

Continuing Education
Individuals hoping to continue their education through a non-degree path can participate in Austin Peay's online continuing education courses. These certifications and certificates include training to become a LEED Green Associate, Certified Indoor Air Quality Manager (CIAQM), Stormwater Manager, Water or Wastewater Treatment Operator, Wind Energy Technician, and many other exciting, green careers.
