In 2007, Dr. Frentzos was appointed a Fellow of the Summer Military History Seminar at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and in 2010 he was named an Academic Fellow for the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies Terrorism Studies Program at Tel Aviv University in Israel.  In 2010 he received Austin Peay State University’s Socrates Award for excellence in teaching. In addition to publishing several articles/book chapters and scholarly book reviews, Dr. Frentzos also co-edited The Routledge Handbook of American Military and Diplomatic History, The Colonial Period to 1877 (Routledge Press, Taylor & Francis Group, 2015), as well as The Routledge Handbook of American Military and Diplomatic History, 1865 to the Present  (Routledge Press, Taylor & Francis Group, 2013).
