Named in honor of John S. Ziegler, the first President of Austin Peay, the Ziegler Leadership Forum is the premier annual leadership event held each spring semester and is open to all registered APSU students to present and/or attend. The event includes a full leadership development experience following a specific theme chosen for the year. A committee of students are selected to work with the Office of Student Life and Engagement's GovsLEAD staff planning, promoting and facilitating our annual Leadership Forum. This event occurs each spring, so stay tuned for more details this fall.
We are currently accepting program/workshop proposals for the conference style forum. Faculty, staff, and students can submit program proposals and present at the conference. Programs can be in a variety of styles including presentations, workshops, or roundtables and can be catered to faculty and staff, students, or all attendees.
Program proposals are due February 25 and can be submitted via Peaylink. The submission form can be found using this link: https://peaylink.campuslabs.com/engage/submitter/form/start/617730
*This is a great opportunity to get conference experience and a great addition to for students to add to their resume*
