Dr. Coggins' background is in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with specific focus in child and adolescent counseling, play therapy and expressive arts interventions, and parent/caregiver interventions.

  • Play therapy and expressive arts interventions that utilize the therapeutic relationship as the primary and foundational agent of change and facilitate holistic care for children, families, and individuals.

  • Teaching and training interventions that increase student sense of competence and preparedness for post-graduate work and that enhance the learning environment.
