Commencement Information for Family & Friends
General parking for commencement ceremonies is located on the east side of the Dunn Center off of Drane Street. Handicapped-accessible parking is located on the west side of the Dunn Center off of Robb Avenue (preferred parking) and directly behind the Dunn Center.
May and December Ceremonies: Shuttle service will be available from 8 am. until 4:30 p.m. Please click here for available pick-up points and additional parking.
August Ceremonies: Shuttle service is not available for these ceremonies.
Handicapped-accessible parking is located on the west side of the Dunn Center off of Robb Avenue (Campus Parking Map).
There is a limited number of handicapped seating. Seats must be reserved by the graduate. Graduates may contact email@example.com to obtain tickets for handicapped seating.
Guests may use cameras and video cameras from their assigned seats during the commencement ceremony. In order to maintain appropriate social distancing, guests may not stand in the walkways or move about the Dunn Center during commencement. Also, please remember that no guests are permitted on the arena floor at any time.
Ceremonies will be held on August 6 and 7 at 10 a.m. and at 2 and 6 p.m. Please visit our Commencement website for dates and times for your graduate's ceremony.
The Winfield Dunn Center is located at 320 Drane Street, Clarksville TN
Depending on the number of graduates, the ceremony lasts an hour to an hour and a half.
Due to social distancing requirements, tickets will be required for all guests. Tickets will be distributed to graduating students on July 23 and 24 from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. in the Honda building located at 317 College Street.

The Department of Communication films and produces a DVD of each commencement ceremony. You may order a copy of your commencement ceremony on DVD by filling out the Graduation DVD Order Form
Austin Peay's official school colors are red and white. Black and variations of gray may also be used as supplemental colors.
