Student Clubs
The Department of Computer Science and Information has two student clubs, the ACM and the Cybersecurity Club, that students can participate in. Ranked-Up Esports is not a department club, but many of our students are members.
ACM Student Chapter
The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is the "the world's largest educational and scientific computing society, delivers resources that advance computing as a science and a profession." (About the ACM organization)
The department's student chapter meets on a regular basis with a variety actvitvies for members.

Cybersecurity Club
The purpose of this organization is to share knowledge, spread enthusiasm, and develop skills of Austin Peay Students and invited guest members. Technical and administrative aspects of offensive and defensive cybersecurity will be developed, discussed, and shared. The lessons and exercises conducted in the meetings, demonstrations, and competitions are for educational and scientific purposes only.

- The third Thursday of the month is reserved for guest speakers.
- The third Wednesday of the month is NashSec, a middled Tennessee gathering of like-minded Cybersecurity enthusiasts. Held in Nashville.
- The month of October brings Two CTF Challanges
- October 29th form 2 PM until 5 PM is the Annual GHOST event on campus
Ranked Up Esports
Ranked-Up Esports is a unversity club for students interested in esports. Although it is not officially affiliated with the department, many department students are members. For more information, check them out in PeayLink.
