Dr. Ahmed joined the Department of Engineering Technology team at Austin Peay State University (APSU) as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2023. He has worked in an industrial setting for around seven years in a power generation business. In addition, Dr. Ahmed has about six years of teaching assistant/teaching fellow experience in different courses in the mechanical engineering department at UNT.
His primary research interests cover the corrosion of micro-channel heat exchangers, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and structural health monitoring of engineering structures.
