I'm a humanist. I believe that all human life has equal value. I work towards creating a more equitable future by transmitting the philosophies of Black writers and artists.

My research interests include 20th-21 century African American and African Diaspora Literatures, LGBTQ+ Literatures, African American Intellectual History, Intellectual History of the African Diaspora, Transatlanticism and Race Studies.
