Learning Environment
Our courses are available at the APSU Clarksville (downtown) campus and the Austin Peay Center on Ft. Campbell Army Base. We offer daytime and evening classes to accommodate our diverse student body, including working students. We strongly encourage students to pursue internships or industry positions to gain valuable practical experience during their studies, fostering a seamless transition into the workforce.
Accreditation
Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our programs’ accreditations. Three concentrations within our Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering Technology—Electrical, Manufacturing, and Mechanical—are accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET (http://www.abet.org). This accreditation ensures that our programs meet the high standards to prepare students for professional practice.
Programs Offered
Our Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering Technology includes Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering concentrations. This program prepares students for diverse careers in the technical industry by integrating mechanics, electronics, and computing principles.
Our associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology provides a foundational education, preparing students for entry-level technical positions or further study and opening doors to various career paths.
A minor in Engineering Technology is strongly recommended for students majoring in business, technical writing, or other fields, as it provides a competitive edge in technical industries.
