Abegayle Goldblatt

Abegayle Goldblatt, FSL Program Coordinator, came to Austin Peay in September of 2019
after serving as an ADA/VA in Hattiesburg, MS. She was hired to be the first Professional
Academic Advisor and Student Success Professional with the College of Arts & Letters.
In the past, she has served as the first Retention Specialist at Alcorn State University
in Lorman, Mississippi and as a Mental Health Counselor in Florida for over 15 years.
She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology with a Minor in Education from
the University of Florida and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Webster University.
Abegayle received her Level 1 Certified Autism Specialist Certification through the
International Board of Credential and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) in July
of 2023 and her Youth Mental Health First Aid Certification in June of 2024. She looks
forward to assisting with the continued growth of the program!
