Diamond Brant
Diamond Brant, FSL Community Relations Coordinator, began working with the FSL program
during her undergraduate years as a peer mentor, then continued to become an intern
for the program. She is excited to be returning and assisting with the program's growth.
Diamond received her Bachelor's in Social Work with a minor in Family Studies at Austin
Peay State University and a Master's in Social Work. Diamond has worked with children
on the autism spectrum through applied behavior analysis through the CMCSS school
system. Diamond has further experience in the mental health field as she has worked
as a therapist with individuals with diverse backgrounds. She believes in the strength-based
perspective and empowering everyone who comes her way. She has received her Certified
Autism Specialist Certification through the International Board of Credential and
Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) and a Youth Mental Health First Aid Certification
in 2024. Diamond will be responsible for the program's public relations and the peer
mentor program.
