Latino Advisory Council of Resource Advocates
Membership: Director Latino Community Resource Center as co-chair, Chief of Institutional Culture and Title IX Coordinator as co-chair, Representative from the Parent and Family Association, 1 representative from Admissions, Registrar, 1 representative from Health and Counseling Services, Military Advisor in Residence, a Community Representative, a faculty member, two additional staff members, two student representatives.
The coordinator of the LCRC will select the members of the advisory council. After being appointed, the members of the advisory council will serve for an academic year.
Description: The board has the responsibility for:
- Focusing on identifying areas of need within the Latino community at APSU
- Collaborating in the implementation of new strategies that will contribute to the recruitment, success, and retention of Latino students
- Recommending speakers, programs, and collaborations for the Latino Community Resource Center events.
