Why Study Music Liberal Studies
The Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Music is a liberal studies degree rooted in a musical foundation that allows students to select from a broad spectrum of courses to suit their goals and interests. Students may choose to earn a minor in a separate field to further establish their experiences and qualifications. Liberal Studies alumni pursue graduate degrees or develop careers that include performance, teaching, instrument repair, conducting, composing, arranging, music theory, recording, pedagogy, music business, and arts management.
Students who wish to develop their musical abilities while exploring additional studies will benefit from the rich training and the myriad of opportunities offered at APSU.
