Background
I have served as a school counselor for more than 10 years and have previously worked with adult mental health facilities, adolescent residential facilities, as well as the Department of Children Services. Prior to joining APSU, I taught at Tennessee State University as well as Capella University. In addition to my roles as a counselor and counselor educator, I served as the President for the Tennessee School Counselor Association as well as the President of the Tennessee Counseling Association. Currently, I am on the editorial board for the Professional School Counseling journal.
