Memberships
Access to University Recreation programs and services are open to Austin Peay State University and the greater Clarksville community. A valid APSU ID is required for entry. Enrollment forms and additional fees for special services may also apply.

Signing Up
Registration & payment, if applicable, must be completed at the Foy Fitness & Recreation Center service desk.
Any applicable fees are based on your Membership Type. See below for membership descriptions.
Accepted forms of payment include cash, check, credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). We also have a monthly payment option through electronic bank transfer or payroll deduction for APSU employees.
Membership Categories
**If not enrolled in summer classes, a fee can be paid to gain access throughout the summer**

Currently enrolled main campus students have access through payment of their Recreation Center Fee. Middle College and dual-enrolled students are included in this category.

Non-Main Campus Students: Ft. Campbell, Regents Online Degree Program and English as a Second Language students may pay for access to University Recreation only ($80 per semester) at the Foy Fitness & Recreation Center service desk.
- The fee is prorated daily. Non-main campus students may also pay fees for all student access privileges through the APSU Cashiers Office.
- Permanent APSU faculty and staff and adjunct employees may enroll for access as an employee benefit by visiting the Foy Fitness & Recreation Center service desk. Currently, APSU adjunct faculty, retirees, ROTC and Middle College faculty/staff, and approved campus ministers are included in this category.

Temporary & Contractor staff (i.e., bookstore, custodial, dining services) may enroll for access to the Foy Fitness & Recreation for a fee.
APSU Affiliates will fall under the Member price for any paid programs or services.

Austin Peay alumni, Govs Club members, and family members of University Recreation patrons (spouse/domestic partner, dependent(s), parent(s)/grandparent(s) may enroll with University Recreation. A $10 application fee will apply on initial application or after a lapse in patronage greater than one year to cover processing and ID fees. Currently, renewal payments are handled only on a per-semester basis. Anyone who has taken a class at APSU is considered an alumni.

Spouse and dependents of permanent APSU employees may have access fees paid using payroll deduction by the sponsoring employee. Each spouse/dependent must complete an individual application. The employee may complete the Payroll Deduction Authorization form and submit it with the application for processing. This payment method confers a modest discount and eliminates semester renewal requirements. To cancel this deduction, the employee must submit a new deduction form indicating a cancellation.

Dependents under age 16 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent/legal guardian at all times. These individuals are restricted from use of the fitness room and will not receive any form of APSU identification, but instead, will be noted on a log at the service desk.

Any member of the Clarksville/Montgomery County community who is not an affiliate of APSU may pay for access to University Recreation. Payment must be made at the Foy Fitness & Recreation Center service desk. A $10 application fee will apply on initial application or after a lapse in patronage greater than one year to cover processing and ID fees.

- If a Bank Draft is returned for insufficient funds, you will be charged for the month’s fee plus an additional $10 return fee.
- There will be a $20 fee for any early cancellations.

Guest Passes
For those that do not have access to the Foy Fitness & Recreation Center or are not ready to purchase a membership, they can purchase a single-visit, 5-visit or 10-visit guest pass. All guest passes include access to University Recreation facilities including the climbing wall, pool and group fitness classes. Guests must be 18 or older with a valid photo ID and/or accompanied by a parent/guardian to purchase a guest pass. Each guest must be properly checked in through the Foy Fitness & Recreation Center service desk. Guests do not have to have a sponsor to purchase a guest pass.
Admittance of guest(s) is at the discretion of the supervisor on duty to ensure the availability of University Recreation facilities to APSU students and authorized University Recreation patrons. Guest(s) will not be permitted if it might negatively impact the safety or quality of services provided.

Multi-visit Pass Note: these are available to purchase for all guests, days do not have to be used consecutively. They shall not substitute as a discount for bringing multiple guests on a single visit.
Guest Responsibility
If any current URec member brings a guest, they are responsible for their guest(s)
and the actions of said guest(s). Any guests entering the facility without first purchasing
a guest pass will be asked to leave and possibly suspended from accessing the facility.
APSU is not responsible for any injuries sustained during use of University Recreation
facilities or equipment.
Guest(s) must complete the respective sections of our guest liability waiver prior to being permitted access to University Recreation facilities.
Age Restrictions
- Any guest under age 18 must be accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian in accordance with our risk management guidelines.
- Participants under age 16 are prohibited in the fitness center.
- Individuals may not supervise a child while participating in activities themselves.
Parking
Parking for the Foy Fitness & Recreation Center is most readily available in the lot directly behind it. There is also parking on the streets near the facility. Do not park in front of any access ramp, crosswalk or yellow curb. The lot directly across the street from the Foy Fitness & Recreation Center is reserved only for APSU campus residents during fall and spring semesters.
The Foy Fitness & Recreation Center lot is monitored by Public Safety for APSU parking decals. Members who do not receive a decal through their affiliation with the University may obtain one at the Foy Fitness & Recreation Center service desk.
