Disaster Response
An APSU community resource page for ways to contribute to the storm damage from the March 3, 2020 tornado outbreak that effected Davidson, Putnam, Benton, and Wilson counties.
Students who have been directly affected by the tornado should alert the Dean of Students Office for assistance. Resources on campus include:
- Access to the SOS Student Food Pantry that offers free food, clothing, household items, hygiene products, and resources in the community.
- The APSU Counseling Services located in the Ard Building
- Student SOS Emergency Funds

Donate Items
APSU will be collecting the following items at donation bins in Student Affairs (MUC 206), Campus Police (Shasteen), the Woodward Library, Wilbur N. Daniel African American Cultural Center (Clement), Sundquist, and Kimbrough beginning on March 6, 2020
- Bleach
- Personal Hygiene items
- Laundry detergent
- Batteries
- First aid supplies
- Work gloves and latex gloves
- Diapers
- Trash bags
Clothing will not be accepted at this time.
