Notice The Examity online proctoring platform will no longer be available at Austin Peay
State University after August 2, 2024. This allows for Examity usage through the Summer
2024 terms. Moving forward, Honorlock online proctoring will remain the solely supported online

APSU Branded Zoom Backgrounds! Show some school spirit in your next Zoom meeting with APSU branded backgrounds and
filters now available in Zoom. To add one of the backgrounds or the Gov Head sticker,
navigate to Settings > Background and Effects to choose a new virtual background or
filter.
All Screens Mode! When enabled, the host (and participants, if allowed) will be able to view all screens
of the participants in the meeting. This can be a great option for proctoring situations
where our standard tools may not be the best solution. It is important that participants
are not allowed to see each other's screens if using this setting for proctoring.

file submissions. This feature enables you to examine various aspects of the file,
including the original author, modification dates, page sizes, and additional details.
To access the document details, simply select the "Document Details" icon (the last
one) on the red similarity panel. For more information on how document details can

Faculty-Requested Human Captioning is now available in YuJa!
Follow these instructions to request captioning services: 1. Access Human Captioning by navigating to 'Manage Media' at the top of the screen. 2. Choose the desired media and select 'More...' from the upper right corner of the
thumbnail and, from the 'Details' page, choose 'Accessibility'. 3. Click on 'Human Caption'. Your default Human Caption service will appear if you
have permission to request Human Captioning. Note, you may see an override message
if auto captioning has been completed. Select 'yes' in the pop-up box. 4. Select 'Send Request'. An email should be sent once completed. There is a 1-2 day
turnaround time for YuJa Human Captioning requests.

Shani has been with Distance Education for two years!
Shani holds the role of Instructional Technology Specialist, with her primary focus
centered on academic integrity tools, such as Examity, Honorlock, Turnitin, and Tutor.com.
She takes pleasure in exploring and familiarizing herself with emerging tools, understanding
their latest features, and discerning their applications within the educational landscape.
