At Austin Peay, we are large enough to offer you a broad range of educational and social options, but small enough to treat you as an individual. That’s because we provide all of the resources of a big university, with a small college feel. We serve a large population of diverse students with several degree options at the associates, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels. Many of these degrees can be pursued on campus and online. Austin Peay also is working to support the region’s economic growth with several new programs that cater to the employment needs of local industries and the surrounding community.

Austin Peay State University students and staff participated in a transformative Alternative Break trip to Santa Rosa Beach State Park in Florida, engaging in environmental conservation efforts and community service projects.
Austin Peay State University partners with Ancora Training to offer a new CDL Class A certification course, addressing the trucking industry's driver shortage. The four-week program aims to prepare students for lucrative careers in commercial truck driving, supporting America's freight transportation needs.
The New Gallery, with support from The Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts and the Department of Art + Design, continues the 2024-25 exhibition season with Record-Keeping, a solo exhibition by APSU assistant professor of art, Yun Shin.
