Academic Course and Program Development
To fulfill APSU's Mission, Vision and Strategic Plan, it is essential that the University continually strives to improve and diversify a robust selection of academic opportunities for APSU's students through certificate, undergraduate and graduate programs and ensure all curriculum is current, innovative and provides high-impact learning experiences.
Academic departments are charged with the development and modification of academic programs that are aligned with the demands of students, the community, industry and the State of Tennessee.
By analyzing the demands of students, community, industry and the state of Tennessee, departments are able to identify areas in which Austin Peay State University could develop new programs enabling a robust selection for our students.
Within these pages you will find information on Curriculog, creating program proposals, forms needed for the program proposals and a Calendar of meeting dates for Austin Peay State University Board of Trustees, Graduate Academic Council, Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) and the University Curriculum Committee (UCC).
