Major
APSU has offered a four-year B.S. degree in agriculture since the 1940s. Requirements include at least 42 semester hours of Agriculture courses plus additional required related courses in biology, chemistry, economics, Earth and Environmental Sciences and communications. Students majoring in agriculture will chose one of these areas of concentration: Agri-Business, Agri-Communication, Agri-Science, Sustainable Development or Veterinary Technology. A concentration in Pre-Veterinary Medicine is also available for students planning to transfer to a college of veterinary medicine.
