Asian Studies Minor Requirements
THE MINOR IN ASIAN STUDIES
Asian Studies is an interdisciplinary minor designed to meet the needs of students interested in Asian
Languages, geography, history, and culture. It is hosted by the Department of History and Philosophy and supported by the Departments of Arts, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Languages and Literature, and Political Science. Students must take 9 credits of a core and must take an additional 9 credits from at least 2 disciplines, totaling 18 credit hours:
Core: (8 credit hours of language and 1 credit hour of portfolio)
