Participant Eligibility Requirements
The rules governing eligibility for our program are dictated by a grant funded through the U.S. Department of Education.
- Individuals who are currently enrolled in a two-year program
- Individuals who have dropped out of a two-year or four-year program and want to go back to college
- High school graduates and those with GED
Individuals who are eligible for our services are encouraged to call (931) 221-7481 or 1-800-351-3382 to schedule an appointment with one of our counselors.
Priority is given to low income adults and those whose parents have not received a college degree (first-generation college students).
The primary objective of the Educational Opportunity Center is to assist adults in gaining admission into an institution of higher education and help them earn their degree. Individuals who are currently enrolled in a four-year program or who have already earned their Bachelor's Degree are ineligible for our services.
