4-Year Graduation Guarantee
What is the 4-Year Graduation Guarantee?
The 4-Year Graduation Guarantee is a part of the Austin Peay Experience. This program is opt-in only. The student must opt-in to the program before the first day of classes of their first semester in attendance.
How do I opt-in to the 4-Year Graduation Guarantee?
You can opt-in to the 4-Year Graduation Guarantee during your visit at Governor's Orientation, or by contacting the Office of Admissions at 931-221-7011 or at admissions@apsu.edu

Undergraduate degree-seeking first-time, full-time freshman applicants.
Can a Dual Enrollment student participate?
Absolutely! Dual Enrollment students can participate in the 4-Year Graduation Guarantee.
Can Transfer students participate?
Transfer students cannot participate in the 4-Year Graduation Guarantee.

The Experience Grant is an opportunity for students to receive funding for internships, study abroad, service trips, research, and other projects upon review

Who is eligible to apply for the Experience Grant?
Any new student that began enrollment at the university from Summer 2023. Any student that enrolled at Austin Peay State University before this time period does not qualify for the Experience Grant.
Students may apply for the Experience Grant when they reach 45 credit hours, but funding may not be distributed until the student reaches at least 60 credit hours.
Can a Dual Enrollment student participate?
Absolutely! Dual Enrollment students can participate in the Austin Peay Experience Grant.
Can Transfer students participate?
Transfer students can participate in the Austin Peay Experience Grant.
What if I previously attended Austin Peay State University but came back during or after Summer 2023?
Your first attendance at Austin Peay State University must be on or after Summer 2023. Even if you attended any courses at Austin Peay State University before Summer 2023, you are not eligible for this grant.
How much funding can I request for the Austin Peay Experience Grant?
You can request up to $2,000 from this grant. The Vice President of Finance and Administration will determine the amount awarded.
What is the review process for the Experience Grant?
The Experience Grant has a two-part application process to ensure proper overview of the student applicants. The initial form is filled out by the student followed by their proposal.
Austin Peay Experience Grant Application Forms
- This is submitted to the committee formed by University College to review the initial application and form a decision that will then be sent to the Vice President of Finance for the monetary review.
- The Vice President of Finance will make a final decision on funding amount and funding approval.
