Office of Institutional Culture
Welcome to the Office of Institutional Culture at Austin Peay State University. The mission of this Office is to coordinate and help lead institutional efforts toward creating and maintaining a welcoming campus environment. This environment must serve the needs of all students, faculty, and staff members by fostering a campus community that is supportive and free from discrimination and harassment.
A primary objective of the office is to provide campus members with educational opportunities to achieve their fullest potential, both as individuals and as members of society without obstacles or challenges due to discrimination or harassment. It is imperative that barriers for achievement be eliminated and the only limits placed on the potential of individuals are those of their own abilities and skills.
The University is committed to a nondiscriminatory philosophy that extends to all constituents. In its educational activities, all campus members will be treated equally.
To ensure the realization of this goal and be supportive of its educational philosophy, the University has developed a plan for providing equal employment opportunity for all campus members. For this plan to be effective, management at all levels must make positive contributions to implementing it. This plan commits the University to comply with all pertinent legislation, regulations, and executive orders in providing equal employment opportunities for all campus members.
Austin Peay State University (APSU) does not discriminate against students, employees, or applicants for admission or employment with respect to all employment, programs and activities sponsored by APSU.
Inquiries or complaints regarding the non-discrimination policies, including Title IX complaints, should be directed immediately to LaNeeça R. Williams, Chief of Institutional Culture and Title IX Coordinator or by filling out the confidential APSU Discrimination and Harassment Complaint Form:
