When is convocation?

Freshman Convocation will be Friday, August 22, 2025. Convocation is mandatory for all incoming freshmen. Please keep an eye out for more information coming soon! 

What is convocation?

Convocation is a ceremonial gathering to kick off the beginning of your career at Austin Peay State University. Instead of a boring speech, President Mike Licari is welcoming the Class of 2029 with a fun-filled party! The marching band, a DJ, and the dance team will be there with giveaways and more! Parents and families are welcome to attend.

What should I wear?

No need to worry about what to wear! We will supply you a shirt to wear at Governors Orientation!
