When is convocation?

Freshman Convocation will be Friday, August 23, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. in the Dunn Center. Convocation is mandatory for all incoming freshmen.

What is convocation?

Convocation is a ceremonial gathering to kick off the beginning of your career at Austin Peay State University. Instead of a boring speech, President Mike Licari is welcoming the Class of 2028 with a fun-filled party! The marching band, a DJ, and the dance team will be there with giveaways and more! Parents and families are welcome to attend.

What should I wear?

Be sure to wear the red shirt that you received at Governors Orientation!
