Taylor Irons
President - Taylor Irons

Hey Govs,

My name is Taylor M. Irons, your Govs Programming Council President. For any of you who don’t know, we are the main activity board on campus bringing you social, multicultural, and higher learning events to broaden your horizon during your college experience. Furthermore, I am now a Junior here at Austin Peay and have been apart of GPC since my Freshman year. When I say time has flown, it truly has! With that being said, whatever you have your mind set on doing, do it and do it to the best of your ability. I honestly did not think I would be the President of any organizations on campus. However, this role isn’t easy especially now that we’re facing COVID-19. It has had an effect on all of us in some way or another. Nevertheless, I can assure you that while holding this position I will do my absolute best in keeping this organization rooted and grounded on the principles we observe to make sure you all returning and new Govs can enjoy your time here at Austin Peay.
