Adoption Process

Austin Peay's Bookstore Vendor Barnes & Noble College has provided the instructions below on how to submit textbook adoptions. 

• Faculty/Departments can use the Bookstore Adoption Insight Portal to submit textbook adoptions.
• Bookstore Adoption submission dates:
  • October for the spring semester
  • February for the summer semester
  • May for the fall semester
• Insight Portal link will be given before each term’s deadline from the Bookstore and is also available on page 46 of the 2023-2024 APSU Faculty Handbook.
• Faculty are urged to visit the bookstore to discuss affordability options for Austin Peay students and check the status of their chosen course materials.
• Faculty can also examine the current term’s course materials on the bookstore’s website.
• First Day Adoptions should be emailed to skoch@bncollege.com by the deadlines set for each department.
