Women's Issues
I have put together a course (CHEM 3040) that covers important issues in Women's Health as addressed through a scientific lens. This class would cover topics of interest such as how birth control pills work, why we get reproductive cancers (breast, ovarian, cervical, etc...), women-specific diseases, reproductive cycle, the role of hormones, developmental/reproductive toxins, and nutrition.
This class is available to all students on campus who feel they would benefit from learning the material. Two semester of any science core are prerequisites.
