Students who pursue the History Minor can study US and non-US history. Upper-division history courses have a low student-to-faculty ratio, providing students with close interactions with their professors. History is key to understanding the human condition because historical knowledge is a fundamental element of any culture.

The Department of History and Philosophy requires 21 hours for the completion of a minor in History.
