English B.A. Online
English is the basis of professional communication, from writing closing arguments in a court to pitching the latest technological breakthroughs. That’s why English majors go on to work in a range of careers. Our students also get to navigate new worlds, forge their own voice, and, in the process, discover themselves.
The Department of Languages & Literature offers an online option for the English B.A. This track gives you the flexibility to earn your degree around your scheduling needs. The program is especially helpful for students when a face-to-face course of study is impractical, be it for work, military affiliation, or frequent travel. At the same time, students have the option to switch to conventional face-to-face courses, or combine online and in-person classes, if they prefer.
The English B.A. at Austin Peay is distinctive in offering virtual internship courses with literary journals and technical writing projects. These internships provide students with supportive experience and the necessary skillset to jumpstart their career.
