For poster presentations, students should prepare a poster with dimensions of 48 inches wide and 36 inches tall. Click here to access the Poster Template.
If your department or college cannot print your poster, OSRI will assist in poster printing costs, but they must conform to the specified size maximums with limited use of color and a primarily white background in this poster template. If a student wants OSRI to print their posters, they should save their posters as PDFs and email to OSRI@APSU.EDU by April 11, 2025 4:30 pm. - All presentations will also need to submit an Abstract in this format (max. 250 words) when they register.
- Although, the most common format for presentations is the use of posters, tables and electrical outlets can be provided for laptops (also provided) to showcase scholarly activities and reasonably sized art exhibits (about 3-feet wide and not a hazard for falling over). Please indicate those special requirements on the registration 2025 Student Research & Scholarly Activity Symposium.
-
For oral presentations, students should prepare a 10-15 minute presentation using an acceptable presentation platform, such as PowerPoint. Oral presentations will be scheduled based on students' availability indicated in the registration form
