What interested you in serving on the CAFE Advisory Board?

I'm thrilled to be the next Director of CAFE!  I was drawn to this position because I would have the opportunity to support and influence so many of my wonderful colleagues across our entire campus.  I really enjoy developing programming and event planning, and these are two of the biggest aspects of the CAFE Director position.  I also love the way I'll get to engage with the first-year faculty and faculty leadership program cohorts each time they occur.  I've already found this work to be very rewarding and fulfilling!

What is your favorite thing about APSU?

My favorite thing about APSU is how we take each student where they are when they arrive, and by the time they graduate, they have gone further and achieved more than they ever imagined!  I also love many of the distinctive things about the arts at APSU like CECA (Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts) and our gorgeous Concert Hall!

Favorite hobby/favorite movie?

My favorite hobbies would be playing volleyball and pickleball, and my favorite movie is Mean Girls.
