Minors

Coaching Minor

The purpose of the coaching minor is for students who have an interest in seeking community or public/private school coaching opportunities.  All undergraduate degree seeking students are eligible to complete the minor which is 18 hours of prescribed courses.

Health Minor

The health minor provides students who have selected a major within or outside the department the opportunity to complement their primary area of study. The minor consists of 18 semester hours, of which at least 12 hours must be upper division (i.e. 3000 or 4000 level courses).

Physical Education Minor

The physical education minor provides students who have selected a major within or outside the department the opportunity to complement their primary area of study. The minor consists of 18 semester hours selected from designated departmental courses.

Recreation Minor

The purpose of the Recreation Minor is for students who have interest in pursuing a career providing recreational and leisure services in a number of settings within a community. All undergraduate degree seeking students are eligible to complete the minor which is 18 hours of prescribed courses.
