In an effort to preserve the well-being of our students, the Department of Housing/Residence Life and Dining Services has made changes to the move in schedule for Fall 2020. Historically, we have held our move-in weekend over three days; however, we will be making the following changes:

Students will be assigned a move in day based upon their room location. These days will occur between August 15, 2020 and August 21, 2020.

Students will be asked to select a move-in timeslot. Students will be asked to arrive within their designated time slot to pick up their key. Students will be able to use the remainder of the day to move their belongings into their rooms.

During their scheduled move-in time, students will be asked to limit guests and family members to two (2) guests per student.

All students and guests will be required to wear masks while moving in to their room.

Staff will be available to assist with opening lobby doors and operating elevators.

Custodial staff will be cleaning common areas throughout the day.
Fall 2020 Move In - FAQ
Yes, all students will be required to provide updated emergency contact information. Furthermore, all students will be required to have valid meningitis immunization record on file with Boyd Health Services.

Our move-in timeslots will open on July 15, 2020 at 8 a.m. All timeslots will be first come-first served.
You may choose a move-in timeslot by logging on to the myAPHousing Portal and following these steps:
- Log in to myAPHousingPortal using your OneStop login credentials
- Click Housing Forms
- Click Fall 2020 Move-In Timeslots
- Complete your Emergency Contact Information
- Choose your Move-In Timeslot
We understand that your schedule may limit your availability for move in; however, we ask that all students move in during their scheduled move in time. We understand that emergencies may arise, and we are here to help. Please give us a call at 931.221.7444 if you believe that your situation constitutes a different move in day.
Yes, all students will be required to have a move-in timeslot appointment. Any students who do not have an appointment will experience longer wait times on their Move-In Day.
