Mission Statement

The department of Political Science & Public Management seeks to develop students who will be knowledgeable critical thinkers about politics, develop an interest in responsible engagement in civic affairs, and be productive citizens in a global society.

The department's mission dovetails into APSU’s vision to create a collaborative, integrative learning community, instilling in students’ habits of critical inquiry as they gain knowledge, skills, and values for life and work in a global society.
