Strategic Legislation Implementation Plan (SLIP)
The Strategic Legislative Implementation Plan (SLIP) is a ongoing process by which the Austin Peay State University Student Government Association systematically measures and evaluates progress towards its legislative goals and overall core purpose, “to be the voice of all students by connecting students to other students, faculty, staff, and administration in order to improve the quality of life and strengthen the APSU community.”
Furthermore, the Strategic Legislative Implementation Plan (SLIP) initiative is intended to intentionally hold the Student Government Association accountable to its own goals and ambitions to track the overall progress of individual legislative goals. The Strategic Legislative Implementation Plan (SLIP) is critical to Student Government Association’s success and tracks the overall progress of individual legislation passed through Student Government Association’s Student Senate.
The Strategic Legislative Implementation Plan (SLIP) objective is to be Accurate, Accessible, Aligned, and Accountable.
- Accurate up to date current relevant information
- Accessible by students, faculty, staff, and administration
- Aligned to SGA’s core values and purpose
- Accountable to SGA’s subordinates
SLIP is regulated by the office of the President.
