Resources for Professors
We've compiled a list of resources for professors including a syllabi statement, strategies and tips for supporting multilingual writers, detailed flyers outlining our services, and a guide to approaching AI-integrated text in your classroom. We offer writing workshops on MLA, APA, and Chicago formatting and have included videos on these formats below.
If requiring student attendance to the Writing Center, please let our Director know at writinglab@apsu.edu your assignment details and due date.
We recommend adding the following statement to point your students towards using the Writing Center.
The APSU Writing Center:
The APSU Writing Center, located on the second floor of the Woodward Library next to Starbucks, offers free one-on-one writing assistance for all stages of the writing process. Our experienced tutors will work collaboratively with you to enhance your writing skills and help you achieve your academic goals.
You can schedule an appointment for in-person, online, or asynchronous consultations by visiting our website at apsu.edu/writingcenter. If you require proof of attendance, please ask your tutor to send your report form directly to your professor’s email address.
We have attached Flyers going over our services that can be included in Syllabi.
